Performance Analysis and Test Research of PEMFC Oil-Free Positive Displacement Compressor for Vehicle

In order to study the matching characteristics of positive displacement air compressor and PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cells), supply subsystem, basic operating performance parameters scroll single-screw compressors were analyzed with focus on oil-free double-wrap compressor. According thermodynamic model three-dimensional unsteady-state numerical simulation, variation temperature, pressure, velocity was obtained. Besides, under rated condition compressor, inlet outlet mass flow rate fluid in working chamber orbiting angle crank achieved. Based built test platform, actual process screw analyzed. This indicates that volume can be significantly increased by improving speed experimental measurement, when height tooth increases 5 mm, prototype SC2 0.17 m3/min exhaust temperature is reduced 13 °C at speed.
